The Car Park Garden at the Gropius Bau invites visitors to reflect on the role nature plays in urban space. This reading aims to show how new target groups can be involved in environmental protection issues through Leichte Sprache (easy language).

Leichte Sprache as a means of imparting knowledge for environmental protection involves a completely new target group that is often forgotten when it comes to climate and sustainability: People with disabilities. Over the past two years, a book in Leichte Sprache on the subject of gardening in the city has been developed in the himmelbeet community garden. The initiator of the book project will talk about the creation process and read short passages from the book.
