How do language and the human body relate to each other? What do our bodies look like inside? What is a glyph? Do our internal organs have memories? Join the artist Mariechen Danz from the exhibition And Berlin Will Always Need You. Art, Craft and Concept Made in Berlin for an afternoon clay workshop. After viewing Mariechen Danz’s installation Common Carrier Case: rotation route, let’s experiment with making imprints in clay together, using anatomical learning models and our own bodies. During this workshop you will have the rare opportunity to create a clay plate sculpture that will be exhibited as part of the artist’s installation at the Gropius Bau.
