It’s that time again: Berlin celebrates the LongNight of Museums, during which the Gropius Bau will open the doors to the exhibition Louise Bourgeois: The Woven Child until late in the evening. Additionally, the atrium hosts Ana Prvački’s augmented reality experience Apis Gropius.

Throughout the evening, a Welcome Team is present at the entrance to greet arriving guests while Restaurant Beba offers themed patisserie creations accompanying the exhibition. Furthermore, the Walther König Bookshop offers a selection of art books and souvenirs. The Gropius Bau Friends can be found in the atrium, where they happily answer any arising questions.

Short guided tours through the entire house are scheduled to begin once every two hours, starting at 18:30, 20:30, and 22:30. Also, from 20:00 onwards, the Young Gropius Bau invites especially the younger visitors to a relaxed exchange in the Bourgeois exhibition and to a clothing swap in the Gropius Hain accompanied with drinks and music. In case of rain, the clothing swap must unfortunately be cancelled.
