Der zweite Lange Abend beginnt mit einer Zusammenkunft des Kollektivs Field Narratives in der Buchhandlung Walther König, gefolgt von einer Vorführung des Films Lung Neaw visits his Neighbours von Rirkrit Tiravanija. Im Lichthof aktivieren John Bock mit einer Performance und manuel arturo abreu mit einer performativen Lesung die demo station von Tiravanija. Das Restaurant Beba bietet den ganzen Abend ein Gericht an, das in Zusammenarbeit mit der Künstlerin TBC entwickelt wurde. Der DJ malengo lässt den Abend mit einem Set ausklingen.
As part of the public programme accompanying the exhibition DASGLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG by Rirkrit Tiravanija, the Gropius Bau invites you to a monthly series of Long Evenings. Film screenings, readings, food activations as well as performances and DJ sets take place on and around Tiravanija’s sculptural stage demo station. The events enliven the building in its various facets and activate Tiravanija’s artistic work, which always creates spaces for people to come together.
