Using the composed language of classicism in Western architecture, artist Daniel Boyd and architect/scholar Michael Mossman speak to the remnants of imperial expansion, place making and the authorship of Europe on their ancestors and ancestral lands. Looking at the transference of knowledge and authority of tradition they will discuss the role vulnerability plays in creating more equitable ways of engaging the built environment.
Dr Michael Mossman is a Kuku Yalanji man from Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia, who currently lives and works on the Country of the Gadigal Peoples in Sydney.
