As part of Spätschicht x Pop-Kultur Festival, Sveamaus plays a DJ set on the half pipe stage outside of Gropius Bau.

Spätschicht – Live-Programm am Gropius Bau is a monthly series of free events with an interdisciplinary programme ranging from concerts and talks to film screenings, book discussions and DJ sets. In addition to the DJ set, you can also look forward to a Queer Ping Pong tournament, performances by Jimmy Robert’s class, a screening of the fictional docu-soap Le Ping Pong d’Amour by Team Ping Pong, a DJ sets by Meg10 an a concert by Wa22ermann.

Svea Mausolf is an artist and author. She gained recognition through her Instagram account @Sveamaus, for which she is celebrated as a ‘meme queen’. Mausolf grew up in Märkisch-Oderland, dropped out of art school in Essen and currently lives in Cologne. On Instagram, she creates images with text that touch the heart with their tragic-comic poetry. A Sveamaus meme triggers all the wounds of the human soul at once.

During the event, photographs and video recordings may be made in which you may be recognisable. By attending, you consent to these recordings being used to communicate the event or exhibition.
