We’re looking forward to DJ sets and live acts as part of Spätschicht x Outreach Berlin.

Spätschicht – Live Programme at Gropius Bau is a monthly series of free events with an interdisciplinary programme ranging from talks, book discussions and film screenings to concerts and DJ sets. In addition to the DJ sets and live acts, you can look forward to a football match, a screening, live cooking and a reading.

Our football tournament in the atrium of Gropius Bau will be accompanied by DJ sets by Eunice Beckmann and DJ ADG as well as live performances by rapper Candeece and Nana Kreuzberg.

With a passion for R&B and Afro electronic music, Eunice Beckmann started DJing as a way to balance her main career as a football player. In her mixes, she blends various influences into a unique sound experience that brings the dance floor to life.

DJ ADG from Berlin combines hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, French House and Afro House in his sets to create a captivating sound. His artistic career began as a breakdancer before he made the move behind the decks in 2018. Since then, DJ ADG has played at Berlin clubs such as The Pearl, Avenue, Bricks, Weekend and Puro, and has impressed audiences internationally in cities such as Toulouse, Basel, Innsbruck, Cologne and Athens.

Candeece is an up-and-coming artist from West Berlin who is determined to make her mark on the German rap scene. Unapologetically honest and with a gritty voice, her sound cuts through with clarity, placing her own perspective in focus as her songs tell stories of overcoming lifes hardships. Candeece developed a strong connection to US rap at an early age and was particularly inspired by the raw energy of Memphis, Atlanta, New York as well as by artists such as La Chat, Gangsta Boo and Chief Keef.

Nana Kreuzberg is 26 years old and has been making music for a few years. In his lyrics, this promising German rap newcomer reflects on everyday life in Berlin with all its ups and downs. He also draws on his own social environment, exploring life as the child of parents with a migration background – a Ghanaian father and a mother from the Seychelles. His beats vary in tone, shifting from melancholic to house-inspired sounds.

During the event, photographs and video recordings may be made in which you may be recognisable. By attending, you consent to these recordings being used to communicate the event or exhibition.
